Christian Paulino Rodriguez, 47, a citizen of the Dominican Republic last residing in Stamford, was sentenced to 42 months in prison for trafficking cocaine.
According to court documents, in November 2016 Rodriguez arranged for the sale and delivery of kilogram quantities of cocaine to a person working with law enforcement. On Nov. 15, 2016, DEA Task Force officers arrested Rodriguez after he coordinated the sale of approximately five kilograms of cocaine to the person, at a value of $31,000 per kilogram.
Rodriguez has been detained since his arrest, and on July 18 he pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, 500 grams or more of cocaine. He will face immigration proceedings when he is released from prison.
