Medics responded to a home on Frederick Street at around 5 p.m. Saturday and found a man in his 50s inside who was already dead, according to the Stamford Advocate. He had a history of drug use, the Stamford Advocate reported.
They then responded to the Purple Bridge at around 6:30 p.m. and found a 56-year-old man passed out in his car, the Stamford Advocate reported. Medics administered Narcan, which is used to combat opioid overdoses, according to the Stamford Advocate. Medics had to administer it eight times before the man was revived, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Later that night, medics responded to Manhattan Street at around 10:30 p.m. and found a woman unconscious in an apartment above a garage, the Stamford Advocate reported. The medics again administered Narcan and were able to revive the woman, according to the Stamford Advocate.
A police spokesperson told the Stamford Advocate that Narcan is being increasingly used to fight overdoses, but that having three overdoses in one night is unusual.
