Homeless Man Found In Stamford Boat Charged with Trespassing

STAMFORD, Conn. – A homeless man faces multiple charges after a boat owner discovered that he had been sleeping in a boat at the Ponus Yacht Club last weekend, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Peter Ellis, 56, was charged with sixth-degree larceny, third-degree burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief, police told the Advocate.

Ellis was found by police after the club member alerted authorities, reported the Stamford Advocate.
