STAMFORD, CONN. -- A 19-year-old Stamford man is facing assault and carjacking charges after police said an alert Greenwich emergency worker spotted him driving the stolen car early Monday, the Stamford Advocate reports.
Bryan Alfaro, 19, of Greenwich Avenue, is charged with third-degree assault, robbery by carjacking and first-degree larceny. He's being held on $75,000 court appearance bond pending a future date in Stamford court, the Stamford Advocate says.
The car was taken from a 23-year-old woman at about 10 p.m. Sunday outside the Wells Fargo bank on Main Street, police said. A Greenwich EMT spotted the car Monday and alerted the Greenwich police, the Stamford Advocate says.
