STAMFORD, Conn. Ramon Sanchez of Stamford died Oct. 13 at the Paradigm Health Care Center in Norwalk, surrounded by family. He was 75.
Born Oct. 3, 1937, in Boiro La Courena, Spain, he was a son of Domingo and Maria Martinez Sanchez. He worked as the manager of maintenance at both Greenwich Country Club and Darien Country Club for many years before his retirement.
Sanchez is survived by his wife, Marcia Mac Intosh Sanchez, of Stamford; two stepdaughters, Debora (Al) Faust and Robin (Michael) Vitanza, both of Stamford; three sisters, Carmen, Maria and Ramona Sanchez, all of Spain; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers, Manuel and Jose Sanchez.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, at Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory in Stamford. Funeral services and interment will be private.
