STAMFORD, Conn. – Peter A. Heliotis of Norwalk died Nov. 15, surrounded by his family. He was 89.
Born March 21, 1923, in Athens, Greece, he was the son of Arthur and Anna Palamaris Heliotis. He was a veteran of two wars in Greece before immigrating to Stamford in 1956. Heliotis then moved to Norwalk, where he had been a resident since 1969.
He is survived by his wife, Sophia Bakis Heliotis; a son, Dr. Arthur (Maria) Heliotis, of Norwalk; a daughter, Anne (Dennis) Papastathis, of Norwalk; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were Monday at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church of Stamford. Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk is handling the arrangements.
