Kane was born June 8, 1918, the daughter of Louis and Virginia Bertana. She lived in Glenbrook her entire life. In 1939, she married Henry J. Kane.
She was a moderator for the Stamford voting and election board for many years. She was a participant at Saint Maurice’s Roman Catholic Church in Glenbrook.
Kane is survived by her children, Virginia (Ginger) Parker, of Utica, N.Y., Bette Ann Mann, of Darien, Frances Richmond, of San Jose, Calif., and Thomas Kane, of Stamford; and 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents.
A memorial service celebrating Kane’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at St. Maurice Church at 329 Glenbrook Road, Stamford.
