Stamford Moms Arrested After Bus Stop Fight

STAMFORD, Conn. – Two Stamford mothers were arrested after a disagreement over how their children acted on the school bus escalated and one of the women hit the other, police reported.  

Dora Elena Juarez, 37, was issued a summons for second-degree breach of peace for screaming in the middle of the street, and Ana Maria Palencia-Ruano, 26, received a summons for third-degree assault for hitting Juarez, police said. The incident took place Wednesday, police said,

? Jeannette Smith, 45, of Stamford was arrested for third-degree criminal trespassing Wednesday, police said.

? Marla Ann Forgit, 26, of Stamford was arrested for illegally operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, evading responsibility and unsafe backing, police said.

? Nikesha Nichell McDowell, 29, of Stamford was arrested Wednesday for second-degree breach of peace and threatening, police said.
