STAMFORD, Conn. The 2012 presidential campaign comes to Stamford on Tuesday as Republicans head to the polls and vote in the Connecticut primary.
Voters can choose among heavy favorite, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich of Georgia, U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, who has suspended his campaign.
The top Republican candidate will be chosen at the Republican Convention this summer to go on to run against President Barack Obama in November.
Polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and are listed below by district, according to the registrars of voters' page on the city website. Visit the Voting District page to look up your district. Polling places are different for state and federal elections than for municipal elections.
