STAMFORD, Conn. Ruth Dot Lawrence, 57, died at home on July 19. She was born in North Carolina on June 2, 1954.
Lawrence is survived by her son, Sean C. Howsie; a stepdaughter, Jessica Howsie; three brothers, William Lawrence and his wife, Clarinda, Jimmy Lawrence and Perry Lawrence; a sister, Stella Lawrence; three grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, James Duke McIver.
Calling hours will be Monday, July 25, 4 to 8 p.m., at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer St., Stamford. A funeral service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
