Police Seek Info on Fatal Stamford Stabbing

STAMFORD, Conn. — A black man died at Stamford Hospital early Monday from stab wounds to the chest. He did not have identification and police are unsure who he is, his age, or where he is from, Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin said.

“We have more questions than answers at this point,” Conklin said.

The man arrived at the hospital with two other people, Conklin said. Forensic tests are being used to try to identify the man, and police are trying to locate the people who accompanied him to the hospital, the police captain said.

“Hopefully, we’ll have more answers soon,” he said.

An officer at the hospital said the victim appeared to be in his late teens or early 20s, Conklin said.

If you have any information for the police, call the investigations bureau at (203) 977-4417.
