Frank William Little, Retired Stamford Policeman

STAMFORD, Conn. ? Frank William Little, 68, died Aug. 28. He was born in Stamford on May 30, 1943.

He attended Stamford Public Schools and served 36 years as a Stamford Police Officer before retiring in 2007. Little was a car enthusiast, and in his retirement he enjoyed playing tennis and gardening.

A religious man, Little sang in the Heavenly Zion Choir at Wilson Memorial Church of God in Christ and was a member of a local prayer group. He was also a member of the St. John’s Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons.

Little is survived by his daughter, Bonneita Little; his brother, Richard Little, and his wife Ruth, his sister Delphine Jackson; three grandchildren, and many friends and relatives.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Wilson Memorial Church of God in Christ, 164 Richmond Hill Ave.,  Stamford, followed by a funeral service. Interment will take place  Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Stamford.

Funeral arrangements were made by Downer Funeral Home.
