Five Guys Restaurant To Open in Stamford This June

STAMFORD, Conn. – Stamford residents in search of a bite to eat will have another choice this summer after the newest Five Guys Burgers and Fries restaurant opens in June.

Restaurant owner Nick Marona confirmed that he and his family will open their sixth Fairfield County franchise at 1201 High Ridge Road. The family operates Five Guys locations in Norwalk, Fairfield, Westport, Newtown and Brookfield.

“Stamford’s always been a target market of ours,” said Marona, who has been in business with Five Guys since 2006. “It’s a good market. It has a high population, lots of drive-by traffic and a lot of shopping areas. It a good fit for a Five Guys.”

Marona says he’s eager to get the Stamford location open and serve the well-loved burgers and fries in the city. The location will employ about 40 people, including high school students. “The stars aligned, and it worked out perfectly for us. We’re excited to be here and … to get one of these stores open.”

Although other burger places are opening in the city, Marona said there’s room for Five Guys in Stamford.
