Eva Kinga Farnsworth, Born in Hungary

STAMFORD, Conn. – Eva Kinga Farnsworth died on Oct. 8 at the age of 68. Born in Hungary, she came to the U.S. in 1956 and spent time living in both as a citizen of both.

Farnsworth is survived by her daughters, Eva Straka, Monika Straka and Viktoria Egger and her husband, Richard; her sister, Ildiko Viczian, and 10 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home. A Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Oct. 13, at 11 a.m. at St. Leo Roman Catholic Church in Stamford, with interment following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, N.Y.

The family asks that donations be made in Farnsworth’s name to a charity of your choice.
