The lanes will be closed beginning at 7 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday. Southbound off-ramp traffic will be detoured to Exit 34 (Long Ridge Road).

Drivers wishing to enter the Merritt Parkway southbound at Exit 35 will be directed to enter the northbound on-ramp at Exit 35 then proceed north to Exit 36 and re-enter the southbound direction via the Exit 36 on-ramp.

The overall project consists of safety improvements, resurfacing, enhancements and bridge improvements on the parkway. The Exit 35 southbound ramps will be closed to reset the existing drainage structures in preparation for milling and final paving.

O&G Industries is performing the work at a total cost of $53,031,742.62. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by November.
