STAMFORD, Conn. Ann Marie Chicko died in Stamford Hospital on Saturday, Oct. 13. She was born on Oct. 2, 1934 in Stamford and was the youngest of 13 children. She was 77.
She worked as a purchasing coordinator for both Stamford Superior Drug Company and at the Walden Book Headquarters before working at the Stop & Shop in Noroton. Chicko loved animals and always greeted any person she met with a smile.
Chicko is survived by her daughters, Vicky Ditri and Ann Morley, and her four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin J. Chicko.
There will be no public memorial services, and arrangements were entrusted to Bosak Funeral Home. Donations can be made to Wormser Congregation, 28 Vine Rd., Stamford, for a park bench to be made in Chickos memory.
