Stamford Psychologist To Hold Working Mom Program

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stay-at-home mothers worried about rejoining the workforce can learn how to overcome those fears in working Stamford mother Dr. Laurel Schwartz's six-week program, “What’s Next for Me? Mothers’ Changing Roles.”

“Women are faced with such quandaries as whether there is a 'right time’ to return to work; how to reenter the workplace after taking time off, how work affects the established family dynamic, and how to gain the confidence to take on a new career direction,” Schwartz said in a press release.

Schwartz is a clinical psychologist who specializes in parenting and marriage. She practices in Stamford and New York and has published several articles.

The seminars take place every Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., beginning on Feb. 27, at Schwartz’ office in Stamford, at 666 Glenbrook Rd.
