Stamford Jazz Series Starts on Earth Day

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford’s Bartlett Arboretum kicks off its new jazz concert series on Earth Day, April 22, with a lineup of local musicians.

The group includes longtime Bartlett supporter and guitarist Gene Bertoncini,  Stamford’s Joe Corsella on drums, violinist Sara Caswell and bassist Michael Moore, the press release said.

The concert starts at 2 p.m. in the arboretum's Silver Educational Center and should run about 90 minutes. It will be followed by a “Meet the Musicians” wine and cheese reception. Future concerts may be held outside, weather permitting.

Tickets are $25 for arboretum members, $30 for non-members and can be purchased in advance by calling 203-322-6971. The Bartlett Arboretum is located at 151 Brookdale Road.
