STAMFORD, Conn. Peter Michael Zdanowicz, 92, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died April 12 in Stamford.
He was born May 19, 1919, the son of Michael and Gabryela (Ignatowicz) Zdanowicz. He was retired from Pitney Bowes after 30 years of working.
Zdanowicz is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sophie Shmak Zdanowicz; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, John and Charles Zdanowicz; and three sisters Helen Zdanowicz, Estelle Paul and Nellie Holowienko.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Bosak Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Name of Jesus Church in Stamford. Burial will follow at St. John Roman Catholic Cemetery in Darien.
