“Fairway Market is taking its support of SpinOdyssey to a new level as the official venue and fuel sponsor of our 2014 event,” said SpinOdyssey 2014 co-chairwoman Patty Kondub a Westport resident. “Since 2011, Fairway Market has served as the official fuel sponsor of SpinOdyssey, providing our riders and volunteers with the nutrients they need to pedal for up to six hours to support breast cancer research. We are very excited to be able to bring the event to Fairway and to a new community—Stamford.”
Now entering its 15th year, SpinOdyssey has raised more than $4 million for breast cancer research and breast cancer patient and family support services. All of the money raised by SpinOdyssey participants is donated directly to research.
The 2013 edition of SpinOdyssey raised $136,000 for the cause, thanks to the efforts of 225 riders and 100 volunteers.
