Kids Sign-up Begins At Stamford's Loft Artists Galleries

STAMFORD, Conn. – Children ages 7-14 are eligible to register for free summer programs offered through Stamford’s Loft Artists Galleries.

The second annual summer art workshop program will run from June 27 to Aug. 22.

Children can explore a variety of types of art, including beading, building with recycled materials, clay, collage, painting and printmaking.

"It’s all about having fun and taking your imagination on an exciting trip,” Ellen Gordon, president of Loft Artists Galleries, said in a press release.

“Thanks to many generous private donors, we’ve been able to expand our community activities and make this new program available for the public.”

Though the workshops are free, each workshop has a suggested $5 fee for materials.

Admission and parking will be free, though optional donations are accepted.

In-person registration is required for each workshop.

Registration hours are 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Loft Artists Association, 575 Pacific St., second floor.
