CT Hunter Dies After Falling From Tree Stand: Police

A Connecticut hunter was killed early Friday morning, Nov. 22, after they fell from a tree stand, authorities said.

Police in Harwinton are investigating the Terryville Road incident. Authorities were called to the scene just after 10 a.m., State Police said.

The fall remains under investigation, but no more information was released Friday afternoon. Police did not disclose the hunter's name or any details surrounding the fall.

State Police along with the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection are investigating the fatal incident.
