The Stamford Police Department is currently investigating the untimely death of the woman that occurred at 182 West Main Street.  On Friday, May 29 at approximately 6 p.m., the patrol division responded to the apartment to check on the welfare of the occupants, said Lt. Numerous 911 Calls Lead To Arrest Of Stamford Man For Weapons Possession In Wilton A Stamford man was arrested on weapons possession charges after police received multiple calls of a driver crossing over into oncoming traffic multiple times. Sergio-Antonio Ortega-Diaz, 48, was arrested on Saturday, Nov. 9, after Wilton Police responded to numerous 911 calls of a dangerous driver, said the Wilton Police. When police caught up with Ortega-Diaz on Danbury Road, they found that he was driving without a license, police said.
