Facebook Threat To Shoot Darien Resident Leads To Vermont Man's Arrest Social media once again reared its ugly head, leading to the arrest of a man in Vermont who threatened to shoot a Fairfield County man on Facebook, police said. A Darien resident came to police headquarters on Jan. 17 with several printouts of threats being made by Woodford, Vermont, resident Richard Koproski, who made threats through Facebook. Police said that a review of the threats showed that Koproski made multiple references to having weapons, being upset with various people, and that he would need a lot of body bags. Officers were called to a residence in Westport on Thursday, Nov. 15 after hearing of a disturbance. Before arriving, police were informed that one party had made threats about striking the other party with a pipe. After police arrived, one of the subjects, Akeem Hosten, of Westport, was trying to leave in his vehicle.
