If you live in Fairfield and see teens in dark clothing sneaking around, don't panic. It's time for high school students to play their annual "AP Assassins" game. It's an annual event each year that is not sponsored by the schools but includes many high school students "hunting" each other down with water or Nerf-like guns in an assassin-like way, said Fairfield Police Chief Robert Kalamaras. Man Wearing Ski Mask Approaches 2 Girls In Fairfield, Police Say
Police in Fairfield County are investigating after two middle-school-aged girls reported a man in a white BMW-like car approached them wearing a ski mask. The incident took place in the town of Fairfield around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1 on Collingwood Avenue. According to Fairfield Police Lt. Police are investigating and alerting the public after a reported luring incident involving a middle school student that occurred this week in Fairfield. Police say they received a report on Monday, June 10 that a Fairfield Woods Middle School student was walking home from school a bit later than dismissal when an unknown white man in his 60's in a vehicle called the student over to his car. Pair Of Stolen Cars In Trumbull Part Of Vehicle Break-In Spree
Trumbull Police are warning residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables after two were stolen and more than a dozen were burglarized over the weekend. The department said they are continuing to investigate the thefts from vehicles that occurred while the cars were parked overnight in residential driveways and other instances where cars were stolen from those same areas. A report of a suspicious car in Fairfield led to a road closure and a response from the bomb squad, according to Fairfield Police. The incident took place around 12:53 p.m. Tuesday when Fairfield police responded to a report of a suspicious car that was abandoned near Mill Plain Green, said Lt. Robert Kalamaras.
