Officials Identify Body Of Missing Man Found In Candlewood Lake Officials have identified a 24-year-old man whose body was found in Candlewood Lake after a weeks-long search for him. Hartford County resident Larry Kwokpo Chan, of Bristol, was identified as the man whose body was recovered from the lake on Thursday, June 16, according to an announcement from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection on Tuesday, June 21. Stephon Walthrust, 26, of Queens, was discovered in the driver seat of a vehicle around 10:45 p.m., Saturday, March 30 on Garden Street, said Stamford Police Lt. Tom Scanlon.
