CT 'Vehicle Takeover' Arrest: 21-Year-Old Disturbed Traffic With 200 Others, Police Say A 21-year-old man faces numerous charges after taking part in a late-night 200-vehicle "takeover" that disturbed traffic in a Hartford County town, police said.  Tyler Bingham, age 21, was arrested on Monday, April 17 on charges related to the "vehicle takeover," which happened in Simsbury on the night of Saturday, March 25, according to Simsbury Police.  On the night of the incident, around 11:40 p.m., approximately 50 vehicles were seen driving through the Elm Street area in a formation that was disturbing traffic. Couple Killed In CT Shooting A Connecticut husband and wife were killed in an alleged domestic violence shooting. The incident involving the couple in their late 50s took place in Hartford County around 5:20 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 12, in the hamlet of Weatogue in the Town of Simsbury. The shooting came to light after an 18-year-old woman who was inside the Woodleigh Place house at the time of the shooting ran to a neighbor's house and called the police, according to Simsbury Deputy Chief Police Christopher Davis.
