Man Found Dead Lying On New Haven Roadway, No Car In Sight, Police Say A man was found dead lying on a Connecticut roadway by police responding to a call of a person in the road bleeding from their head. The incident took place in New Haven around 3 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1 on the Sherman Parkway near West Division Street. Officers arrived quickly and located the man in the middle of the roadway near the double yellow line. He was unconscious and suffering from significant injuries, said Capt. Fugitive Wanted For Murder Nabbed In New Haven A man wanted for murder and assault was caught by local and state police after receiving information he might be hiding out in the area. Jamahn Johnson, 46, of Clinton, N.C., was arrested Tuesday in the area of Sherman Parkway and Willis Street in New Haven after Secret Service agents and the New Haven Police Department developed information that Johnson was in the area, Connecticut State Police said.
