24-Year-Old Killed When Tesla Hits Pickup Truck In Crash Involving Fairfield Woman
Connecticut State Police are seeking witnesses to a crash on I-84 that killed a 24-year-old man. The crash took place in Hartford County around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 19 on I-84 in Southington. According to state police, Elijah Joseph Vallier, age 24, of New Britain, was driving a 2003 Ford F-250 truck eastbound on the highway in the right lane of three when the driver of a 2023 Tesla Model 3 driven by Fairfield County resident Shannon James Sherry, age 47, of Fairfield, veered across the center lane, into the right lane and collided with the truck.
