Brookfield Woman Charged With DUI After Crashing Into Large Rock In Newtown, Police Say A Brookfield woman was charged with driving drunk after allegedly driving off the roadway and hitting a large rock. Teresa Jennings, 56, was arrested on Thursday, Nov. 7, after Newtown Police received a report of a woman sitting in a car that appeared to have been in a crash, said Newtown Police Lt. Aaron Bahamonde. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Jennings sitting in a gray 2001 Volvo station wagon with fluids in the roadway. Bahamonde said that following an investigation, police determined that Jennings had driven off the roadway in Redding and hit a large rock, which …
