Dutchess County resident Noah Michael Thompson, age 17, of Amenia, died Friday, Feb. 10, at Sharon Hospital in Litchfield County, Connecticut, after falling through the ice at the Taconic State Park in the village of Millerton, located in the Town of North East.  Noah was a high school student at Webutuck High School in Amenia and was expecting to graduate this spring, according to his obituary. Derby Native, 24, Remembered For 'Huge Heart' Kristie Lyn Drewes, 24, a Connecticut native, died in a multiple-car crash that also claimed the lives of two others in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on Friday, May 4. Born in Derby, to Keith A. Drewes of Orange Park, Fla., and Diane Hannan of Seymour, Drewes was known for her "huge heart," and cheering on her favorite football teams.
