Fairfield County Woman Charged With Stealing Bushes, Police Say A Fairfield County woman has been charged with allegedly stealing several bushes from the front of a home and dragging them to her apartment. During the early morning hours of Thursday, Oct. 28, several decorative shrubs were dug up and then stolen from the property at 1141 Post Road East, in Westport, police said.  Lieutenant David Wolf, of the Westport Police, said the investigating officer was able to follow a trail of dirt from the above address to an apartment complex located at 1177 Post Road East.  A number of the stolen plants were reportedly found outside …
