Teen Sex Assault: Child Victim Of Danbury 19-Year-Old, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl twice at a high school in 2021. Tyrique Scott, age 19, of Danbury, was arrested on Tuesday, June 27, on sexual assault charges that took place at J.M. Wright Technical High School in Stamford. According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Connecticut State Police Trooper Foti Bistolas responded to the school in May after the incident was reported to the principal of Wright Tech by a school social worker. One Seriously Injured When Car Hits School Bus Head-On, Stamford Police Said An area woman is undergoing surgery after her car hit a school bus head-on in Stamford, police said. The incident took place around 12:21 p.m., Thursday, March 28, at 765 Newfield Ave., said Stamford Police Sgt. Jeff Booth with the Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Squad.  According to Booth, the crash occurred when a 2006 Toyota Camry driven by a woman was traveling northbound on Newfield Avenue when she allegedly drifted into the southbound lane hitting the bus head-on, he said.
