'Medical Event' May Have Caused Death Of Stamford Man In Norwalk Crash A 59-year-old man died following a car crash from what may have been a medical event. The Norwalk Fire Department responded to a single car crash around 4:12 p.m. Sunday at 353 Main Ave., Hotel Zero, Sunday, said Norwalk Fire officials. The driver of a Subaru Forester may have suffered a medical event while driving northbound, on Main Avenue, officials said.  The SUV crossed the southbound lanes, mounted the curb, struck and split a 15-foot tree at the roots, then hit a parked vehicle in the hotel parking lot.  Both of the cars and tree ended up about 15-feet from the building.
