Man Found Dead Floating In Hamden Lake Police are investigating after a man's body was found floating in a lake in Connecticut. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 11:15 a.m., Monday, April 15, at Lake Whitney in Hamden, near Hartford Turnpike and Rogers Road. According to Capt. Anthony Diaz of the Hamden Police officers responded to the scene and found the man, who was dead. Diaz said Hamden Fire Department personnel removed him from the water and took him to the Medical Examiner's Office. A preliminary investigation did not show any signs of trauma.
