Jeyson Alonso-Castellano, age 22, of Stamford, was arrested by Stamford Police on Saturday, Aug. 20.  The incidents took place on Sunday, April 10 on the city's East Side in the area of Glenbrook Road and East Main Street; the second took place on Culloden Road, said Lt. Suspect Nabbed In Rash Of Vehicle Break-Ins In Stamford, Norwalk Police have arrested a suspect in a string of vehicle break-ins in the Stamford and Norwalk areas. Starting in April of 2018, the City of Stamford experienced a large number of burglaries involving forcibly entered vehicles and removal of rims and tires. One incident, which occurred on a night in July, included seven vehicles having their windows broken and being forcibly entered on Glenbrook Road. Charged were: Mamuka Simonishvilli, 52, of Bedford Street, Stamford, operating under the influence and possession of marijuana. William Potolicchio, 64, of Hubbard Avenue, Stamford, operating under the influence and possession of marijuana. 11-Year-Old Hit By Car Near School Bus Stop In Stamford A Stamford boy was hit by a car near his school bus stop after he ran into traffic, according to Stamford Police. Sgt. Joseph Jarrett said the initial investigation shows the 11-year-old boy was hit at the corner of Daskam Place and Glenbrook Road. The boy, who was not in a crosswalk, was transported to the hospital with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries, police said. The driver remained on scene. The case remains under investigation.
