A former Connecticut police officer who has been charged in numerous crimes sprees has been arrested again for allegedly burglarizing a restaurant and bar and making off with $76,000 in cash and items.
Hartford County resident Patrick Hemingway, age 37, of Glastonbury, was charged on Wednesday, Feb. 28, for the Thursday, May 4, 2023 crime in Wethersfield.
According to the Wethersfield Police, an investigation by the Detective Bureau, found that Hemingway had allegedly broke into Lucky Lou's Bar and Grill at 222 Main St., and made off with the cash and items.

The crash took place in Hartford County around 1:50 a.m., on Sunday, July 16 in Glastonbury.

A Connecticut store will soon permanently close its doors after 102 years in business.
Melzen Pet Supply, located in the Hartford County town of Glastonbury, will have its last day of business on Saturday, Nov. 12, the owners announced on Monday, Oct. 10.
The owners said their grandfather, Stanley Melzen, first opened the business, located at 100 Oak St. Glastonbury, in the 1920s shortly after he immigrated from Poland, and he passed the business on to their father, Joe Sr.
