Fairfield County Man Arrested For Shooting Death Of Girlfriend, Police Say A 67-year-old Fairfield County man has been arrested for the murder of an area woman who was shot to death in May 2020. The Stamford Police Department arrested Gary Greig, age 67, of Stamford on Thursday, March 11 for murder in the death of 50-year-old city resident Staci Magazzi, said Lt. Tom Scanlon. Greig has been in the custody of the Connecticut Department of Corrections for a firearm charge related to this same incident, Scanlon said. Convicted Felon Faces Weapons Charge After Woman Found Dead In Stamford Apartment A convicted felon is facing a weapons possession charge after an investigation was launched when a woman was found dead in an apartment in Stamford. The Stamford Police Department is currently investigating the untimely death of the woman that occurred at 182 West Main Street.  On Friday, May 29 at approximately 6 p.m., the patrol division responded to the apartment to check on the welfare of the occupants, said Lt.
