A 55-year-old man is facing charges after investigators reported he used the information of a victim from Fairfield County to purchase a $47,905 watch.
Darien Police officers responded to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office in Paterson, New Jersey, on Thursday, Oct. 6, to take custody of Douglas Cantey, a resident of Paterson, who was wanted in an incident that was reported on April 3, the Darien Police Department said.
The victim told police he received a UPS delivery of an empty Rolex watch box, which he didn't purchase, authorities said.

CT Woman Accused Of Stealing $50K From Employer, Police Say
A Connecticut woman has been arrested for stealing more than $50,000 from her employer.
Michelle Anseeuw, age 47, of New Haven, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 6 for the theft which allegedly took place between Sept. 2020 and Sept. 2021.
According to Milford Police, Anseeuw was accused of completing fraudulent customer returns at her previous place of employment, Carquest Auto Supply, at Milford Auto Supply, at 1051 Bridgeport Ave, and stealing over $50,000 from the company.
Following her arrest on a warrant, Anseeuw was charged with first-degree larceny and computer crime.

Man Charged In Fairfield County Larceny Of Exercise Equipment Worth Over $68,000, Police Say
A 61-year-old man was charged after police in Fairfield County said he was involved in a larceny of exercise equipment worth more than $68,000.
Police received a report on Nov. 24, 2020, from an individual who said they paid $68,562.57 for exercise equipment and never received it, according to the New Canaan Police Department.
The victim said they made multiple attempts to get the equipment delivered, authorities said.
Investigators determined that Kevin Rourke, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was involved in the larceny, police said.

Man With Decades-Long History Of Burglaries Steals $25K From New Canaan Home, Police Say
More than a year after the crime took place, DNA left on a rubber glove at the scene of a burglarized Fairfield County home connected a man with a history of burglaries dating back to 1983 to the theft of $25,000, according to police.
The New Canaan home was reportedly broken into on March 25, 2019.
Ezra Hill of Stamford, 54, was arrested on a warrant on Monday, Sept. 1 and is currently incarcerated at Bridgeport Correctional Facility.
Hill was charged with the felonies of first-degree larceny and third-degree burglary, and will have his day in court on Friday, Oct. 16.
Norwalk Man Charged In $25K Darien Larceny Case
A Norwalk man has been charged after his alleged involvement in a $25,000 larceny case in Darien, police say.
Darien Police say officers took custody of Robert, Tricarico, 63, of Norwalk on Wednesday, Sept. 4 after an investigation showed that he failed to repay a $25,000 loan.
The initial report of theft came from an 82-year-old victim on June 21, 2016., according to police The victim reportedly told police that she loaned her financial advisor $25,000 several years prior to assist him in starting his own financial management company.
