29-Year-Old Man Gunned Down On New Haven Roadway In Broad Daylight A man walking down a Connecticut city street was killed by a passenger in a vehicle firing out of the window in broad daylight. The incident occurred around 4:50 p.m. in New Haven on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the intersection of Grand Avenue and East Pearl Street. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, officers responded to the area after receiving a report of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers located a 29-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body, Carr said.  A crime scene was immediately secured. Officers began to render aid until fire …

Road Closed Since Yesterday For Homicide Investigation A suspected homicide has closed a main roadway since 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30. As of 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, a part of Exchange Street in New Haven was still closed for an investigation, police said. A crime scene has been established on Exchange between Ferry and East Pearl streets in the Fair Haven neighborhood.
