CT Man Who Stabbed Himself When Confronted By Cops Was Wanted For Kidnapping A Connecticut man who repeatedly stabbed himself in front of detectives was wanted by police for attempting to kidnap a Red Cross employee for stealing her belongings and running her over with her own car. David O’Brien, age 30, of Haddam, was captured by Hartford Police on Tuesday, Feb. 2, in connection with the event which took place in Farmington on Friday, Jan. 29, said Farmington Police Lieutenant Tim McKenzie.
