Man Wanted For Robbery, Assault, Nabbed By Police With Heroin In His Pants A man wanted on two active failure to appear warrants for robbery and beating a pregnant woman was nabbed by Stamford police after a stakeout. Capt. Richard Conklin said officers in the Narcotics and Organized Crime Squad scooped up Donald Newman-Smith, 28, of New York City, as he was dealing heroin on Hope Street around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
