Darien Woman 'Stumbling' To Car Charged With DUI, Police Say
A Fairfield County woman was charged with allegedly driving under the influence after she was seen stumbling to her car, police said.
Sabrina Donnelly, age 42, of Darien, was arrested on Saturday, April 13, on Heights Road in Darien.
According to Sgt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police officers were called to the parking lot on Heights Road after a bystander watched as Donnelly was "stumbling" to her vehicle and was having trouble opening the door.

Shampoo Swipers Snag $4,500 From Darien CVS, Police Say
A duo took thousands of dollars worth of hair care from a CVS store in Fairfield County, authorities announced.
The Fairfield County incident occurred in Darien on Thursday, March 7.
At about 8:15 a.m., an employee at the CVS located at 964 Post Road went to their manager, informing him that the shampoo aisle was “looking low,” according to Darien Police.
The manager reviewed a store camera, which captured a man and a woman grabbing hair products off the shelves and stuffing them into a tote bag.
A total of $4,590 was taken from the CVS, police said.

New Chief To Head Darien Police Department
A new chief will soon take over the reins of a Fairfield County police department, but he's no stranger to the area with 28 years of police work under his belt.
The Darien Police Commission announced on Tuesday, Feb. 27 the appointment of Capt. Jeremiah P. Marron, Jr. as the department's 12th Chief of Police.
Marron, a 28-year veteran of the department, will assume command of the department on Friday, April 1, following the retirement of the current Chief, Donald B. Anderson, said Kim Hiffard, chairman of the Police Commission.

Home sales are down and prices are up along Fairfield County's Gold Coast due to a lack of inventory over the past few years.
The areas most affected by the challenges included Darien, New Canaan, and Rowayton markets, according to Houlihan Lawrence Real Estate Brokerage.
