Waterbury Woman Killed In Crash With Box Truck
A 46-year-old Connecticut woman was killed in a crash with a box truck that closed a busy roadway. New Haven County resident Sandra Sanga Paguay of Waterbury died around 5:40 a.m., Tuesday, June 13 in Waterbury. According to Lt. Nadine Amatruda of the Waterbury Police, officers responded to the area of 271 Lakewood Road on the report of a motor vehicle accident with injuries involving a car and a box truck. Paguay was extricated from her car by Waterbury Fire Department and was found to have serious life-threatening injuries, Amatruda said. She was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital and …

Catherine Ann Spiegel died peacefully on January 29 at St. John Paul II Center in Danbury. Catherine was born on June 7, 1935 in Dayton, OH to the late Harry Carmack and Mary Elizabeth Madigan Carmack. Catherine, known as Ann to her many friends and colleagues, graduated from the University of Dayton and went on to get her master’s degree at New York University. A Danbury man who is being remembered for his comedy and "failed" attempts" at becoming a Harlem Globetrotter, has died. William Wallace Dickens III, better known as Wilbur Dickens, died Friday, June 7 from complications following surgery. Dickens was born and raised in Danbury where he spent the majority of his life working in the sign industry after his many failed attempts at becoming a Harlem Globetrotter.
