Shooting Threats Made Against 2 CT High Schools
Shortly after police in Connecticut arrested a 15-year-old after accusing him of making a hoax shooting threat against a high school in New Haven County, officers received another message of violence, authorities said. The teenager is accused of making a social media post around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11, that claimed there would be a shooting at Crosby High School in Waterbury, police said. Teen Duo Charged With Making Threats To CT Schools
Two teens have been arrested for making two separate social media threats against two Connecticut Schools. The threats were made in New Haven County on Monday, Sept. 26, causing the two Waterbury schools to shelter in place and have additional police on campus on Tuesday, Sept. 27. Waterbury Police Lt. Third CT School Sheltering In Place Following Social Media Threat, Police Say
A third Connecticut school is sheltering in place following a social media threat. The latest threat, in New Haven County, was directed at Crosby High School in Waterbury. The threat came on Tuesday, Sept. 27 via social media, said Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police Department. Although police did not elaborate on the threat.
