Wanted Man By Feds Nabbed In Fairfield County, Cops Say
A Fairfield County man wanted by US Marshalls for parole violations was nabbed after a foot chase through an area train station. The chase took place in Stamford at the Stamford Train Station and surrounding area around midnight on Friday, July 22. Michael McFarlane, age 29, of Stamford, was nabbed when the Stamford Police Department's NARC unit got word that McFarlane would be arriving on a train from New Haven, said Capt. Man Caught With Heroin In Milford
An erratic driver in Connecticut was busted with heroin and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop, police said. Members of the Milford Police Department stopped local resident Christopher Carr shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, on Pumpkin Delight Road near Monroe Street, following reports of an erratic driver in the area. Police said that during the traffic stop, they established probable cause to investigate Carr and his vehicle. Passenger Who Provided False Name Caught With Drugs, Weapon, Greenwich Police Say
A 24-year-old man who was already known to police in the area was busted with a host of drugs and a weapon after he tried to pull a fast one on officers in Greenwich. Officers from the Greenwich Police Department conducted a traffic stop on West Putnam Avenue at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, when the drivers committed a violation. During that stop, police said that they were given probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants.
