More Than 100+ Cars Takeover Stratford Street For Second Time In Week
Police in Connecticut had to break up another illegal "takeover" of a road after more than 100 cars blocked traffic during the weekend, authorities said.
Police in Fairfield County were called to 200 East Main St. in Stratford just after midnight on Sunday, Sept. 29, to reports of a takeover, authorities said.
When police arrived, many of the cars and pedestrians that gathered to watch scattered, but police were able to nab four of the participants, Stratford Police said.

Police in Connecticut arrested six women on charges of prostitution as part of a community clean-up sting, authorities said.
Waterbury Police arrested the women on Monday, Sept. 23, in the Willow Street and Hillside Avenue areas of the New Haven County town.

New Haven County resident Kyle O’Creene, age 24, of Naugatuck, was arrested on Tuesday, May 7, in Naugatuck.

CT High School Student Killed In Shooting
Police in Connecticut are asking the public for information in connection with the shooting death of a 17-year-old high school student.
The student, who attended New London High School, was found around 6:22 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, when EMS responded to the area of Grand St. and Elm St., in New London, for the report of shots fired with an injured person in the roadway, authorities said.
Once on the scene, the male teen was found and declared dead by paramedics, New London Police said.
