A man is facing years in prison after pleading guilty to three bank robberies in Connecticut.
Francesco Pensiero, "Frank," age 51, of Stamford, admitted the 2020 robberies on Tuesday, June 4, according to Vanessa Roberts Avery, US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
According to court documents and statements made in court, on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020, Pensiero and an associate robbed the Chase Bank located at 2855 Main St., in Stratford.

A Fairfield County man is facing forgery and identity theft charges after police said he tried to make a fraudulent transaction at a bank.
Christopher Johnson, age 54, of Norwalk, was arrested at about 3:20 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 15, on charges stemming from an incident that happened in Darien in 2020, the Darien Police Department announced on Wednesday, Aug. 24.
Officers responded to Chase Bank, located at 165 Noroton Ave. in Darien at about 1:40 p.m. on Sept. 26, 2020, after receiving a report about an attempted fraudulent transaction, police said.

A Fairfield County man has been charged with the robbery of a Chase Bank and is a suspect in several other robberies.
Ramion Baker, age 41, of Bridgeport was arrested on Wednesday, May 25, in connection to a 2021 Chase Bank robbery in Shelton, said Det. Richard Bango, of the Shelton Police.
On Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, the Chase Bank located at 675 Bridgeport Ave., in Shelton was robbed by a masked man that handed the teller a note demanding cash, Bango said.

A man was arrested in Fairfield County after allegedly withdrawing more than $25,000 from a bank account that did not belong to him.
Igor Injomar Corporan, 24, of the Bronx, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 10, when Chase Bank contacted Fairfield Police at 2:42 p.m. to report a man in their branch making several suspicious withdrawals from an account, said Lt. Antonio Granata.
An investigation revealed that Corporan attempted to make four withdrawals on the same day from a Chase Bank account that did not belong to him, Granata said.

A 60-year-old man is facing multiple charges after police say he tried to open a fraudulent bank account in Greenwich.
Greenwich Police say they responded to Chase Bank on Post Road on a report of a man attempting to open a fraudulent account on Thursday, Aug. 15 around 2:15 p.m.
Officers responded and searched the area, but they were unable to locate the suspect, police say.
Later that day, the suspect, identified as Jorge Lamarche, 60, of Fort Lee, New Jersey, confessed to the bank fraud at GPD Headquarters, according to police.

A man and woman from Westchester were among four nabbed in a scheme to cash a fraudulent check at a Greenwich bank, according to police.
The incident took place around 4:29 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, when Makeeba Mercedes Bell, 28, of Ardsley, walked into the Chase Bank on Greenwich Avenue and attempted to cash a fraudulent check, Greenwich Police said.
Bell, who was wearing a green hoodie and black sweatpants, walked towards the rear of the bank parking lot where arriving Greenwich officers saw her getting into a Honda Civic parked in the handicapped spot, police said.

A woman attempted to make fraudulent withdrawals totaling $170,000 using a fake identification at a Chase Bank in Greenwich, police said.
The incident occurred at around 2 .m. on Friday, June 22 at the branch at 1150 East Putnam Ave., where 23-year-old Mengyan Zhou attempted withdrawals of $150,000 and $20,000, said Lt. David Nemecek of the Greenwich Police Department.
Zhou presented investigating officers with a fraudulent New York license, attempting to depict herself as the bank account holder, police said, adding that she also lied to officers several times regarding her identity.

Man Nabbed Attempting To Make Bank Withdrawl With Fake ID In Greenwich
Greenwich Police arrested a man for attempting to make a fraudulent withdraw from a local bank using a fake ID, according to police.
Tyree Dulani Lomax, 40, of the Bronx, was arrested around noon Monday after police received information that Lomax was attempting to withdraw money from the Chase Bank, 111 West Putnam Ave., said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.
When located, Lomax was in possession of a fake driver's license and credit card, Slusarz said.
Lomax was charged with two counts of forgery, ID theft, criminal impersonation and criminal attempt at larceny.
