ID Released For Man Caught Minutes After Robbing Bank In Stamford, Police Say
A man who was nabbed within minutes of robbing a Stamford bank has been identified by police. Charles Redshirt, 35, of Stamford, was arrested by police in just 8 minutes after robbing the First Bank of Greenwich at 900 Summer St., around 12:50 p.m. Monday, said the Stamford Police Department. Officers Christopher Festa and John McClafferty arrived on scene less than a minute from the initial call.
