Following a hearing this week in Bridgeport Superior Court, a judge allowed James Taylor, 75, to be released from custody under the condition that he lives with his son Chris Taylor, a member of the Bridgeport Board of Education. Taylor was arrested in February after he allegedly shot and killed his ex-wife. A brazen porch pirate stole a package left moments earlier by a UPS delivery truck in Fairfield, police said. The theft occurred around 3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 in the area of Catamount Road in the Town of Fairfield, police said.
